Monthly general sales.
Our general sales are usually held on the first Wednesday of the month. Potential purchasers can view the sale on the Tuesday before the sale from 9.00am to 6.30pm and the morning of the sale from 9.00am to 10.45am, the sales usually commence at 11.00am unless otherwise advertised. These interesting and varied sales comprise between 300 – 500 lots and include:
- Antique, Victorian and 20th century furniture
- Oil paintings, watercolours and prints
- Ceramics and glass
- Silver and electroplated items

The catalogues for these sales can be purchased for £3.50 (including postage) or available on subscription for £36.00

The Welsh Arts
Within the three Fine Sales we have a Specialist Welsh Arts Section which is a homage to all things Welsh.
The pottery and porcelain from the Nantgarw, Swansea, Ewenny and other Welsh factories.
Paintings by Antique and Contemporary welsh Artists including Kyffin Williams, Donald McIntyre, Ceri Richards, E J Maybery, John Piper, Leonard Beard, Frank Brangwyn, Christopher Williams, Warren Williams etc.
Welsh and provincial furniture including Coffer Bach, Coffers, Welsh Dressers, Investiture Chairs, Tridarn, Didarn etc.
Longcase clocks by Welsh makers, Bracket Clocks, Carriage clocks, Railway timepieces etc.
Country Sports
Anthemion Auctions are focusing within the three fine sales on the country pursuits of Hunting, Shooting, Fishing and Falconry.
As registered firearms dealers Anthemion Auctions are able to handle Antique and modern shotguns whether from a deceased estate, private collection or just changing tastes.

Specialist Sporting Memorabilia Sales
Anthemion Auctions hold two auctions of Sporting Memorabilia, including all sports but focusing mainly on Rugby, Football, Cricket and Golf.
Mike Ashton is our Sporting Memorabilia Consultant with a passion for sport, he is unrivalled in his knowledge and expertise. He started his auction career at Phillips Auctioneers developing and expanding the concept of Specialist Sporting Memorabilia Sales. The auctions are usually between 800 – 1500 lots in size encompassing single items, single vendor collections etc.
