Ryan Beach MRICS

Ryan Beach came to Cardiff in 1995 and formed Anthemion Auctions in March 2000. After graduating from college in Southampton with a Fine Arts Valuation Diploma, Retail Jewellers Diploma and Fine Arts and Chattels Valuation Degree. Ryan joined Phillips Auctioneers in Westgate Street, Cardiff as a Valuer and auctioneer. With the closure of Phillips Auction Room in Cardiff in August 1999. He decided to found an auction room in the Capital of Wales to service the need of buyers and sellers alike in the locality.

We moved to our present larger premises in March 2005 having outgrown our previous premises.

The auction rooms hold a prominent location on the main arterial road leading into Cardiff and offers parking on site and in the locality.

Throughout our time in Cardiff we have sold tens of thousands of lots catering to a wide client base.

 

Mike Ashton

Mike Ashton began work as a Sporting Memorabilia Consultant in 1994 with Phillips Auctioneers, establishing sales in both London and Cardiff – later moving to Bonhams before joining Anthemion Auctions in 2000.

Mike has appeared on numerous Television and Radio programmes including the Antiques Roadshow and has been responsible for bringing some of the great collections to auction including those belonging to Hal Cohen, Bertram Wakley, Brian Johnson, Percy Bush, JBG Thomas, Tich Freeman, John Charles, Bill Clement, Tom Rees and Jack Kneeshaw.
